  • Obtained by breaking crystals.


Crystals

  • Crystals can be found in chests, monsters or crystals vein.
  • After unlocking certain nodes in the survival tree, they can also be farmed.
  • Magic Find will increase your odds of higher quality crystals when farming them. Crystal qualities are determined when the  Crystal Bulbs mature into crystals.
  • Crystals can be inserted into armor. Depending on the iLvl of the armor, it has a different socket shape.
  • There is currently no way to change the shape of sockets or crystals.
  • Unique crystals are limited to one across all four armor slots. For example it is not possible to stack four Rainbow Rock crystals in armor sockets.

Crystal Affixes

  • Affixes are the magical properties that can appear on items of a Common (Green) quality or higher.
  • The number off affixes an item receives will depend on the quality of the item, along with random chance.
  • Once the game has determined the quality of an item, it then determines the number of affixes to give;
    • Non-Magical (White) - None
    • Common (Green) : 1 Prefix
    • Uncommon (Blue) : 1 Prefix and 1 Suffix
    • Rare (Purple)  : 3 - 4 Prefixes or Suffixes (any combination)
    • Exceptional (Orange)  : 3 - 4 Prefixes or Suffixes (any combination) + Exceptional Buff
  • After the number of affixes has been assigned, the game then chooses affixes randomly from the following list:
    • Attack Power
    • Vitality
    • Intelligence / Grit
    • Vigor
    • Speed
    • Armor
    • Hit points
    • Fire Resistance Rating
    • Cold Resistance Rating
    • Lightning Resistance Rating
    • Poison Resistance Rating
    • Magic Damage %
    • Fire Damage %
    • Cold Damage %

    • Armor (scaled on character level)

  • Once the Affixes have been chosen, the game assigns a value to that affix, based on a range that is determined by the ilvl of the item. For example, an ilvl 100 item may roll 35 - 42 Vitality, while an ilvl 4 item may roll as low as 1.
  • Some affixes are exclusive to either Prefixes or Suffixes, which means some Common items cannot have specific affixes and certain affix multirolls are much rarer than others.


*Note that it is possible to roll the same affix multiple times on a single item. There is no limit to how many times a single affix may be chosen.


Exceptional Crystal Affixes*

  • Every time you suffer damage, gain a stacking elemental buff (5% per stack (10 stacks: 50%))
  • Every time you suffer damage, gain a stacking armor buff
  • Every time you do damage, gain a stacking gold and magic find buff
  • Every time you do damage, gain a stacking chance of executing your target
  • Every time you kill, you have a 5% chance of healing 10% of your max health

*These effects do not stack
